Prophecy is a tantalizing topic, and many people get caught up in prophetic pronouncements made by religious and secular prophets, in newsletters, internet blogs, and books. So how do you know what is true and what is false? When it comes to God’s faithful prophets what is the prophetic message that God wanted his people to understand? Within the old and renewed covenants God created a relationship with his people that offered amazing promises. We who trust in God’s faithfulness look to him to fulfill all that he has promised to Abraham and all who walk in faith with God as Abraham walked. The apostle Paul wrote of the glory of the old covenant and the ministry of death and the greater glory of the new covenant. What did he mean?
