Join us daily for a message to encourage you during this spring festival season. HOLY DAY Forgiveness, Faith and Obedience – A Tale of Four Passovers There are major differences between the Good Friday – Easter tradition and the biblical Passover- Unleavened Bread festival that relate to the issue of faith and obedience. Are we following the biblical instructions and ‘hitting the target’ or are we ‘missing the mark’ and continuing in sin. Are we disobedient like Adam who heard God’s instructions but did not do them? Or, are we following in Jesus’ footsteps who both listened to and performed all the the Father had asked him to do?

Feast of Trumpets 2021 – The Seventh Trumpet & Christ’s Return
Comments Off on Feast of Trumpets 2021 – The Seventh Trumpet & Christ’s Return, Videos, by CGP.Feast of Trumpets — Seventh Trumpet When the seventh trumpet sounds it will usher in the return of Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. This vision of the future seems fantastical. And yet it has been prophesied for millennia. Daniel wrote of this cataclysmic change in world governance when he revealed the meaning of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The dream was an allegory of a great statue representing the great world powers in succession, beginning with the Babylonian King as the head of gold. As history has confirmed, the silver kingdom of Medo-Persia, and the bronze kingdom of Greece, were followed by successive resurrections of the great Roman system. And yet, ultimately all of these great civilizations will be destroyed, so that not a trace of them will be found. But what will replace these corrupt oppressive systems of governance?

Do Not Fear – A Story of Escaping Sin
Comments Off on Do Not Fear – A Story of Escaping Sin, Videos, by CGP.Leaving Egypt When God told the Israelites, “Do not fear!” they had good reasons for being afraid. A week earlier all the tribes of Israel had triumphantly left Egyptian slavery behind and had walked out of Egypt. But now they stood between the mountains and the sea with the might of the Egyptian army bearing down upon their position. The enemy was bent on doing the devil’s work by overtaking the Israelites. They would seize the booty, and destroy the people before they could reach their promised land. Egypt was the superpower of the day, and with their mechanized army of chariots they were equipped to easily mow down the columns of fleeing refuges. In their fear the people cried out to God. It was evident that their hard won freedom could be easily lost.

Murder and the Greater Good — the Sixth Commandment
Comments Off on Murder and the Greater Good — the Sixth Commandment, Videos, by CGP.Youtube has banned this video, so see the video on minds by clicking the link below: https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1218284952129499136 Murder, Passover, and the Messiah When is it murder? Is it OK to kill a few for the greater good of the many? This is a good question for the beginning of a new sacred year, and the approaching Passover season. The New Covenant Passover (Lord’s Supper) with the bread and wine symbols, as observed by Jesus’ disciples, anticipated the Messiah’s death — his murder. Do you know what the scriptures reveal about this important topic, addressed simply in the commandment, “You shall not murder.”

Why is this Happening? – The Sabbath Connection
Comments Off on Why is this Happening? – The Sabbath Connection, Videos, by CGP.Modern Questions and Ancient Answers Is there a Sabbath connection to our present dilemmas? It is evident that we, the people of the West, are standing at a crossroads. And the path we choose will have profound consequences. So how do we choose? Many do not realize that answers to our modern questions are to be found in ancient texts. The wise of this age, relying on earthly wisdom, fail to recognize God’s wisdom. As a result they have ‘closed their ears’ to God’s advice, and fail to listen to his warning. Even the ‘religious’ in society are caught up in greedy schemes, lying and cheating, and calling for ‘unity’ to cover up their nefarious deeds. So we are at a crossroads, and we need to decide whether we will walk the path guided by evil leaders and their failed visions. Or, will we choose, a different path, and willingly follow God’s wisdom?

Feast of Tabernacles 2020
Comments Off on Feast of Tabernacles 2020, Videos, by CGP.Sabbath October 3, 2020 The Messiah and the Kingdom As the “latter days” prophesied in scripture draw ever closer, we need to consider the relevance of the Feast of Tabernacles. On this first day of the festival we look forward to a new age ushered in by the coming of the Messiah. But what is the nature of our Messiah? Many religions teach the concept of a Messiah, a deliverer. But few understand the nature of the Messiah who is revealed in the Judeo-Christian scriptures. October 4, 2020 Are All Things Fulfilled? Many Christians believe that when Christ died and was resurrected that “all things were fulfilled” but is that true? What does the bible really teach? Jeff Patton examines the evidence of scripture and history to show the prophecies concerning the Messiah that are yet to be fulfilled. Prophecy fulfilled – Isaiah challenges Christians to rethink their ideas about Christ as they read, here a little, there a little, to discover what the future holds for those who trust in Christ as Saviour.

Feast of Trumpets – Day of Judgment 2020
Comments Off on Feast of Trumpets – Day of Judgment 2020, Videos, by CGP.A Day of Judgment – A Time to Remember The Feast of Trumpets, Yom Teruah, is considered to be a day of judgment by those who have a national covenant relationship with the Lord God. At this time many in the Jewish community who celebrate the day will spend some time reflecting on the past year. Then they will make resolutions for the future. But most Christians have forgotten the command to observe the Feasts of the Lord. And, as a result they neither know their spiritual history, nor the significance of these annual Holy days. As the apostle James warns believers, if you are just hearers and not doers of the law, then you will forget. And having forgotten, you will no longer understand the value of God’s teachings and the joy that comes with walking in the ways of the Lord. It is dangerous to lose touch with the past.
