Enjoyed this sermon and agreed with the truth stated in it’s contents. Am really enjoying the archived sermons. Gives me the opportunity to pause at any point and reflect on each of the points made; also to research them, if I feel the necessity to do so. Thanks for ALL the archived sermons and the truth contained in them. I feel sure that Mr. Patton is a man called into God’s service–to take HIS Word to the world in general and to HIS Saints in particular.
Thank you for your encouraging words. For some years now we have taken our personal motto from the book of Isaiah, “The Lord God has given me the tongue of the teacher that I might comfort the weary with the word. (Isaiah 50:4)” We are happy to know that God’s word is bringing you comfort and sustaining you in your walk with Him. It is a privilege to be a messenger in His service and provide sound biblical teaching to encourage others to search the scriptures to know what God has to say and what He expects of His people.
If anyone is interested Jeff also talked about this subject among others at the Feast of Tabernacles 2013. The message was entitled “Stumble” http://cogwebcast.com/sermons/video-archives/do-not-stumble-fot-2013-jeff-patton/
