Can we have the faith we need without God’s spirit? Can we have the faith of God without works? Do we live by faith without the law? These are questions that many religious leaders have wrestled with over the centuries. But what does the scripture say about this fruit of the spirit? Jeff Patton uncovers the answers the Bible reveals.
The American election is over but it has not resolved the deep political and social rift in that nation and it is not likely to give the leadership a clear mandate for the future. In a time when America seems divided politically and socially, we need to ask ourselves the important question, “Who deserves our loyalty.” Jeff Patton explores the scripture to reveal the answer, and provide insight into our loyalties as Christians. Divided loyalty is a pitfall on the Christian road.
We often speak of “good” people, meaning those who are nice, easy going, helpful. Yet the idea of goodness in the scriptures is much more than this and is unique to God. So how is God good? And how can we be good as God is good? Jeff Patton examines the concepts of”agathos” and “kalos” in the scriptures to explain these different facets of godly goodness, a fruit of the spirit.

The fruit of the spirit has many facets, many attributes that are all interdependent, and all flow from the Spirit of God and fully reflect His character. This series provides a fascinating in-depth study of each aspect of the fruit of the spirit as revealed through the scriptures.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

The spiritual attribute of meekness or gentleness is often misunderstood. Jeff Patton searches the scriptures to clear up this misapprehension, and explain the true nature of this godly virtue. Today is not the only day of salvation!
But those God has called, he has called for a purpose.
At the right time God will call and save all of humanity.
When Christ will return; the Kingdom of God will be setup on Earth, and then we will come to the Eighth Day, the Last Great Day, — Great White Throne Judgement. In light of this knowledge we need to know, What is God’s purpose in this Great Day? And, how do we actively wait and prepare for that time? Jeff recounts his personal story of interrogation, trial, and travels through the Iron Curtain in the land of darkness which was then communist Hungary and Romania. Then he links this to our role now that will impact the future of those who will be resurrected to life when the Last Great Day finds its fulfillment. More
