Why would Christians observe festivals that would seem to be obscure Jewish Holy Days to the mainstream of Christianity? Would it surprise you to know that the human genome, and our purpose in living are intricately connected to the Holy times that God set apart in scripture? What are the biblical festivals that the apostles and the early church observed and why did they observe them? Jeff Patton searches the scriptures for the answers to these important questions, and their relevance to our worship today.
If, as some Christians believe, we already have eternal life as immortal souls, then why would we need a resurrection? From the scriptures we know that the hope of eternal life is the goal of salvation and that salvation is a process that culminates in the resurrection to eternal life, but what does the bible say about the nature of those who are resurrected? Jeff Patton explains this great spiritual mystery of immortal life.
