God gives his prophetic message to his friends, to those who walk in covenant with Him, like Abraham who did all of God’s will. Are you a friend of God? Are you doing what Jesus has commanded, so that He can give you wisdom and understanding of his prophetic writings?

We are emotional beings and fear is often a major part of our emotional landscape. Can we gain wisdom without the fear of God? Can we let our fears subvert our faith in God? This spring, we will be hosting a variety of services and festivities in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia to celebrate the New Testament Passover, the Hebrew Passover and the first day of Unleavened Bread. We invite you to join us for Celebrate! Passover 2014 on April 11-16.
Starting with a Welcome and Hymn Sing-a-long on April 11, Celebrate! Passover will offer many opportunities to fellowship and worship. Activities include video workshop and filming for our Truth Bytes series, an unleavened bread bake-off, a group lunch and wine tasting (TBC), a buffet dinner for The Night to be Much Observed, a family dance and a potluck dinner. In addition to regular Sabbath services, there will be special services on the Holy Day and a New Testament Passover service.
Services will be held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Special rates for accommodation are available at the Golden Sands Resort.

When we worship God does it matter how and when we do it? Can we create our own traditions and worship God according to the dictates of our heart? Or is there more to worshipping in spirit and in truth than may be easily apparent in our world of competing worship traditions. How do we worship in truth? Adam and Eve were given the opportunity to eat of the tree of life; they could have chosen life, but instead, they opted to listen to a very cunning con. God instructed ancient Israel to follow Him and choose life, not only for their own sake, but for their children’s sake. When Jesus spoke to the disciples, they too, had a choice to make. You also have a choice. You have the opportunity to walk in covenant with God and choose life. What will you choose?

When we examine the historic roots of Thanksgiving we move beyond visions of turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce to grasp the deeper meaning of the day. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln both proclaimed national Thanksgiving Days, and they involved more than giving thanks to God for all His blessings. Jeff Patton explains the forgotten message of Thanksgiving and gives us pause to reflect on the thanksgiving sacrifice that pleases God.
