Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the UN, is concerned that, “This year the horizon of hope is darkened…” We are entering a time of judgment and momentous world events. But, for the people celebrating Yom Teruah Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashana, our Lord God gives us hope. How does this feast remind us of the hope, the salvation, and the deliverance that our merciful God offers to those who walk humbly in covenant with Him.
