Are You Prepared for Christ’s Rule?
“Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Revelation 20
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5
Preparing For Christian Leadership
Considering the future that God has prepared for his people, are we preparing now to do our part?
God is training his leaders for positions of service to care for his family. Will we be ready to do our part? Here are some messages from the scriptures to help us reflect on the role God wants us to play in bringing many children into his household.
Day 1 Holy Day Succoth 2025
Biblical Futurists — A Festival for Christ’s Followers
These festival days in the fall harvest season have important meaning for every believer in Jesus Christ our Messiah. And yet in our time few people believe in a literal return of the King of Kings. Few consider the need for observing God’s commanded assemblies. And as a result, even fewer people have a clear vision of the future. Yet, Paul, the apostle to the gentiles, encouraged these converts to keep the annual feast days recorded by Moses. Why? It was an important part of the gospel message! Paul understood this and preached the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God.
Rejoice…a Responsibility
Peter, explains the responsibility that comes with the great and precious promises that God has given us. And one of them is fellowship. We rejoice in the festivals of God for they are special times to express brotherly and godly love. They are opportunities to show kindness and goodness, and demonstrate the power of God in our service to others. This is a cause to rejoice!
Day 2 Succoth 2025
Visions of Utopia – Times of Restoration
In our society it is easy to create a short-list, a litany, of all the evils of our age. We suffer as a result of wealth inequality, desperate refugees fleeing intolerable conditions, corruption in politics and business, environmental destruction, acute and chronic disease, and the rise of destructive technologies. The bible predicted all of these woes, that would follow those who say evil is good and good is evil. But more importantly, God offers a solution! He does not focus on the futility of man’s ways, but on the future he envisions. He wants us to embrace his dreams of Utopia.
Day 3 Succoth 2025
Transformational Leadership — World Needs Now
“Leaders are people who do the right thing; managers are people who do things right.” (Professor Warren G. Bennis) So where are the “leaders” in our world, the ones who “do the right thing?” We have many charismatic figures in the world — politicians, sports figures, adventurers, business executives. Those who are examples of Christian leadership have godly vision and set a true course to inspire others to do the right thing, they exercise transformational leadership.
Day 4 Succoth 2025
Dealing with Deception —Beware the Devil’s Devices
We first meet the Devil’s devices in the garden of Eden. There he sowed doubt in the minds of Adam and Eve with his crafty insinuation. “Is it true that God has said…” He first undermined their trust in God as a God of truth. Then, he appealed to their desire to be wise and live forever, with the infamous, “You shall not surely die!” As the Father of lies he obscured the truth. Are we as aware as we should be of the Devil’s devices as they have been re-envisioned in our world. Or do we buy into one of his finest lies, “The devil? Naw, he doesn’t exist.”
Day 5 Succoth 2025
Conquer Evil with Integrity
Evil Doers and their Evil Plans
To conquer evil, what is in the Christian arsenal? As a scripturalist Christian you have no doubt discovered that you do not fit into society. You cannot wholeheartedly embrace the ideologies of any of the highly partisan political tribes. For some of your acquaintances your scriptural perspectives are perhaps too ‘conservative.’ But for others, your views are just too ‘liberal.’ Isaiah’s prophecy of the nature of the time before the return of the Lord God as King of Kings rings true to you.
Day 6 Succoth 2025
A King’s Oath Modern and Ancient
The duty of a king to reign justly brings to mind God’s instructions to kings and the hope that Christians have of the return of the King of Kings. The modern Oath that the king affirms has many valuable components. However, curiously, the promise to honour God and the law of God are seemingly in opposition to the promise to promote the state church. Jeff considers some of the aspects of the scriptures that highlight this irony and that would pose a dilemma for any king. We are also encouraged to consider the coming of the successor to the Davidic throne, the Messiah, and his promise that the Saints will be co-heirs with him ruling on his throne. Learn what God required of kings, and gain a vision of the future with the Messiah, the true heir to David’s throne.
Day 7 Succoth 2025
What’s a Saint to Do?
The picture of who are qualified to be saints and what will their responsibilities be in the future is very fuzzy in the minds of many believers. Jeff examines the scriptures and walks through the many things that saints will be doing when Christ returns as King of Kings. Come along on this exploration of the promises of Jesus Christ to his disciples. Consider the evidence of the writings of Paul, Luke, and John relating to the time of the restoration of all things. And, read the witness of the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah and Micah who outline the events that will transpire at the return of the Messiah. Join our live stream for those who love and live the biblical scriptures.
Last Great Day – The Eighth Day

Hope of the resurrection!
Can These Bones Live?
Can these bones live? The short answer is, “Yes!” but there is much more to the story. God says that, “all will be saved” but is that happening now? When will God work to save all of humanity? God’s plan of salvation for all is revealed through the Holy Days that God created as memorials and as prefigurative events envisioning what is to come in the future. The future is full of hope for those who put their trust in the God of scripture.
Are You Awake to God’s Promises?
Are you awake to what God will be doing in the coming year? There are those who espouse ‘Christianity’ who do not believe that God will keep his promises. Or perhaps they think that the prophecies were already completed in some historical past. Do you know what God says and do you trust him to be the same yesterday, today and forever? Do we believe that God will yet fulfill the prophecies that he delivered to his people over the centuries – prophecies of a righteous remnant who would be delivered and return to restore and rebuild Zion? Were the prophets mistaken? Did God change his mind and his promises are no longer valid? Or, will the Lord God return to save his people, those who trust in him? Will he forgive and redeem those who repent so they will be awake to God’s purpose?
In the coming year let us be among those who are aware of God’s plans and awake to righteousness. and lights in God’s house.
