Join us daily for a message to encourage you during this spring festival season. HOLY DAY Forgiveness, Faith and Obedience – A Tale of Four Passovers There are major differences between the Good Friday – Easter tradition and the biblical Passover- Unleavened Bread festival that relate to the issue of faith and obedience. Are we following the biblical instructions and ‘hitting the target’ or are we ‘missing the mark’ and continuing in sin. Are we disobedient like Adam who heard God’s instructions but did not do them? Or, are we following in Jesus’ footsteps who both listened to and performed all the the Father had asked him to do?

Boundaries to Respect — Teach ‘All’ Things
Comments Off on Boundaries to Respect — Teach ‘All’ Things, Videos, by CGP.God’s Boundaries The mission of the disciples of Christ was to go into the world and teach by word and example ‘all things’ that Jesus had taught. Today, we live in a society that is embracing values that stand in stark opposition to the truth of scripture, and those values that conform to reality as Jesus instructed. As a result, we face a challenge similar to that of our ancestors in the faith who lived 2,000 years ago. Through the power of God’s spirit we must understand the boundaries that we must respect. We must determine those ideas and actions that we must resist at all costs — what is ‘unclean’ according to the Word of God. We must know what is acceptable to God — what is ‘clean.’

Petitions, Prayers, Intercession, and Thanksgiving
Comments Off on Petitions, Prayers, Intercession, and Thanksgiving, Videos, by CGP.God hears the petitions and prayers of his people. Whether we are in personal distress, or our nations are facing daunting foes, our prayers can make all the difference. Hezekiah, the King of Judah, knew this to be true when the Assyrians attacked Jerusalem. Earlier, Hezekiah had been on his death bed, but God had heard his prayers and seen his tears, and healed him of a fatal illness. So when Sennacharib’s army began to demolish the cities of Judah, Hezekiah knew where to turn for help. Do we?

Nature of Lies — Deceivers and the Deceived
Comments Off on Nature of Lies — Deceivers and the Deceived, Videos, by CGP.What is the nature of lies and why do people tell and believe lies? The scriptures give us keen insights into this issue. The Lord God of Israel, is a place of refuge and a compassionate and just judge. However, he hates and promises to eventually eliminate those who are false witnesses — the liars. He hates those whose lying lips are a testimony to their arrogance and contempt for God and those they deceive. People lie for many reasons, from avoiding punishment to trying to please others and gain status or to control and manipulate. The scriptures provide cautionary tales to help us recognize and avoid the liars and their lies. What the liars and those caught up in their lies do not perceive is that lies have unavoidable negative consequences. It is only the truth, alethea, the true nature of reality that is able to point us in the right direction and help us avoid deception’s painful outcomes.

Who is Guarding the Flock? Are Your Leaders Leading?
Comments Off on Who is Guarding the Flock? Are Your Leaders Leading?, Videos, by CGP.View the video on Minds: https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1306393091468431368?referrer=JudeoChristian Faithful Guardians God had given Moses the role of leading his people Israel out of Egypt and to the Promised Land. Trained as a shepherd Moses understood this sacred trust to guard and shepherd God’s flock. Following in the footsteps of his Lord, who would later offer his life for the people, Moses demonstrated godly love for those he served, for forty years he was the one faithfully guarding the flock. Similarly, Jesus’ demonstrated his love for his disciples, and he encouraged them to emulate his example of protecting those who were in their care. The love that Jesus spoke about was not mere emotion, but commitment to choosing and doing what God prefers, by the power of his spirit. Do our spiritual leaders demonstrate this kind of love?
Worthy of Trust? Childhood memories of the days before credit and debit, bring to mind the sign on the cash register that said, “In God we trust, all others pay cash.” Due to the fickle nature of the human heart that Jeremiah describes as deceitful and wicked, we can often find ourselves wondering about the issue of trust. Who is worthy of our trust, and why? Many of those who are trying to escape addictions and change their lives wrestle with the bad choices they had made previously. Often these choices were the result of misplaced trust that ended in incarceration or mental health issues.

Feast of Trumpets 2021 – The Seventh Trumpet & Christ’s Return
Comments Off on Feast of Trumpets 2021 – The Seventh Trumpet & Christ’s Return, Videos, by CGP.Feast of Trumpets — Seventh Trumpet When the seventh trumpet sounds it will usher in the return of Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. This vision of the future seems fantastical. And yet it has been prophesied for millennia. Daniel wrote of this cataclysmic change in world governance when he revealed the meaning of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The dream was an allegory of a great statue representing the great world powers in succession, beginning with the Babylonian King as the head of gold. As history has confirmed, the silver kingdom of Medo-Persia, and the bronze kingdom of Greece, were followed by successive resurrections of the great Roman system. And yet, ultimately all of these great civilizations will be destroyed, so that not a trace of them will be found. But what will replace these corrupt oppressive systems of governance?
